The company operates CRM and Employee Portal systems to streamline customer engagement and internal services. With a focus on digital enablement, Ashapura required a scalable and secure platform to improve performance, reduce manual efforts, and support a growing user base.
The Need for Change
Ashapura's legacy, on-premises infrastructure introduced several operational challenges. Manual deployment processes were error-prone and time-consuming. The lack of integration between development tools, absence of centralized monitoring, and security risks from hardcoded credentials made it difficult to maintain operational efficiency and respond to evolving user needs.

Our Solution
AeonX Digital Technology Pvt. Ltd., an AWS Advanced Tier Partner, implemented a modern DevOps-based solution on AWS to transform Ashapura’s application infrastructure. The goal was to enable automation, strengthen security, and support scalability using cloud-native services.

Infrastructure Setup
- Applications were deployed using AWS Fargate for backend services and Amazon S3 for frontend hosting
- Application Load Balancer (ALB) was configured in a public subnet to route external traffic securely to containerized services
- A VPC with public and private subnets was created in the AWS Mumbai Region to separate application and database layers
- Amazon RDS for MySQL was deployed in a private subnet to securely manage persistent data

CI/CD Implementation
- A complete CI/CD pipeline was built using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, and CodeDeploy, integrated with GitHub
- On every commit to GitHub, CodePipeline triggered the pipeline automatically
- CodeBuild generated backend container images and pushed them to Amazon ECR
- CodeDeploy deployed the latest version to AWS Fargate using a blue/green deployment strategy, ensuring zero downtime

Security Integration
- AWS Secrets Manager was used to store sensitive credentials, removing hardcoded secrets from the codebase
- IAM roles enforced least privilege access across all AWS services
- Amazon WAF and CloudFront were configured to secure the application at the web layer

Monitoring and Alerts
- Amazon CloudWatch enabled log aggregation, performance metrics, and custom alarms
- AWS CloudTrail captured and audited all API activity across the environment
- Site24x7 was integrated to provide external uptime monitoring and alerts, complementing AWS-native observability
